How to become a supplier to the Polish Armed Forces – a system for acquiring military equipment.

For whom?

For all those involved in the process of delivering military equipment to the Polish Armed Forces, both representing contractors and ordering parties.

Normative scope:

  • procedures provided for and requirements resulting from the Act of 14 July 2023 – Public Procurement Law,

  • methods of acquiring military equipment provided for in Decision No. 116/MON of the Minister of National Defence of 1 September 2021 on the acquisition of military equipment,

  • basic information on the management of intellectual property rights and requirements for technical documentation of military equipment in accordance with the provisions of Decision No. 155/MON of the Minister of National Defence of 7 November 2022 on the management of intellectual property rights resulting from the implementation of projects for the Ministry of National Defence and technical documentation of military equipment;

  • basic information on the process of assessing the conformity of products resulting from the Act of 17 November 2006 on the system of assessing the conformity of products intended for the needs of national defence and security

  • basic information on the quality assurance system resulting from the AQAP allied publications and decision 126/MON of August 23, 2019 on quality assurance and services related to military equipment

Course of training:

Experienced trainers will familiarize participants with issues related to aspects of tender procedures as well as those related to the implementation of the concluded contract. Participants will gain the necessary knowledge to properly assess risks resulting from the provisions of contracts concluded with the Ministry of National Defense and optimize activities during their implementation.

Skills acquired during the training:

  • procedures arising from the Public Procurement Law in the areas of defence and security;

  • how to meet the subjective and objective requirements formulated by contracting authorities in the fields of defence and security;

  • methods of obtaining military equipment resulting from ministerial regulations;

  • procedures concerning product conformity resulting from the Act of 17 November 2006 on the conformity assessment system for products intended for state defence and security purposes;

  • quality assurance system resulting from decision 126/MON;

  • familiarization with AQAP allied publications.


Participants acquire the necessary knowledge and skills through a combination of theoretical classes, practical exercises and group workshops.

Skills acquired during the training:

  • demands of allied AQAP publications;

  • how to meet AQAP requirements for quality assurance and quality management system;

  • how to supervise external suppliers;

  • how to implement the agreement with the military with the cited AQAP publication;

  • efficient cooperation with the regional military representation.
